Humidity Control
One of the primary difficulty in storage is high humidity levels. Relative humidity of 60% and above allows mites, moulds, fungus, oxidation, paper rot and wood degradation to take place. Many storage facilities depend on an air conditioning to dry the air. The complication with this is higher temperatures don’t always coincide with elevated humidity levels.
